As promised, here are the gifts that I made to give my dear sister in law who is expecting her first at the end of May. We had a fun time last night at the shower, we had a good turn out...25 women. Here is the paint can that I altered, and inside the paint can I put in some diaper shirts (or onesies) that I stamped some images on. For the ink for the onesies, I used Archival ink (Jet black) and it didn't bleed or run. It faded a little bit, but nothing I could complain about and would use it again :)! As soon as I stamped the onesie shirts, I threw them into the dryer for 1/2 hour to sort of set the ink. Then, I washed the shirts so the baby could wear them right away. I did 6 onesie shirts, 2 of each image and there were 2 different sized shirts too :)! These days newborn clothes don't fit
all newborns, lol!

I had these done about a week or two ago, but then yesterday I thought she could use some thank you notes to go with her gift (not something a new mother get's). So I made 26 thank you cards, I stamped the same images that were on the diaper (onesie) shirts onto the cards and then added the "thank you" sentiment. I colored each of the images on the cards too, originally I was going to just color in one thing on the card but then I got a little carried away and did more than just one thing. I put the cards into one of my altered boxes that I had left over from the card sets I made for Christmas gifts.
Cute monkey stamp eh? It is from the Autumn Leaves stamp set called "Mindy's Zoo", it is a great set to have especially if you make a lot of children's cards.
I also love this Giraffe stamp too, he is from Inkadinkado and I have used him for many baby cards :)!
