I wasn't at the last SU night at Kim's place, but I did hear about our next groups challenge and it involves using a different fold. This challenge was put out by Deborah, and we will exchange our cards at her SU night :)! My search began over at the SCS, plus I sent off an e-mail to Beate to see if she had any ideas too and she suggested the following folds:
~Gate fold
~Zfold
~Joy fold
~Cami trifold
~triange trifold card
I didn't really see a fold that lept out at me and said "pick me, pick me"...so I carried on with my search over at SCS and I found one that I really really liked. So my card was cased from a card that Wendy Weixler (her nickname on SCS is Wendybell, check out all the other wonderful and beautiful cards that she makes) made. So I decided that I would use this fold that I think is called "accordian fold", if I am wrong about the name of the fold please let me know so that I can correct it here.
Here is what I used to make this card:
Cardstock:
~ SU Bravo Burgandy for the cards base
~Patterned paper from Michael's
~white flat cardstock from Carousel
~brown weave cardstock from Carousel
~ avacado green cardstock from Carousel
Ink:
~SU Bravo Burgandy
~SU Mello moss
~ Hero arts Shadow ink ( soft rose)
Stamps:
~SU Stitched Exotics
~Smile sentiment and butterfly from the Stampendous clear acrylic stamp set from Michael's
~ background leaf stamp from the "November" clear acrylic stamp set from Michael's (not sure who made this set).
Other:
~Brown Ribbon from Michael's
~rhinestone from Michael's
~photostickers
~Zots
~Su corner punch (ticket punch)
