Last night, we had a crafty night and our challenge project had to have flowers on it somewhere and so here is what I created for the challenge.
Here is the card I recieved in our card challenge swap, thi
s time I got Kim's card and I just LOVE it...just gorgeous :). Everyone, did an amazing job on their challenge cards.
Yvonne provided us with our group projects for the night, I have seen this one on several people's blogs but just thought it was difficult. It is far from being difficult, WOW...what a great project and Julie used this project for teachers gifts this year. She put paper clips and other doo dads in the boxes, and of course a little bit of chocolate too :p! I can't wait to make some more of these boxes, and here is the link for this tutorial:
Here is what the inside of the box looks like, pretty neat :)!
I also made a card (it was more like a postcard) for Deborah to say thank you for holding these crafty nights at her place, the stamp I used is by the Artful Stamper. Here is what I did to create this card:
~Stamped out the image onto watercolor paper
~colored in image on watercolor paper
~stamped out image onto Vellum
~colored in image on vellum, then I cut out the leaves and butterfly wings.
~attached wings and leaves using some glue
~used my glass finish one the butterflies bodies
Here is what the "postcard" looks like from a different angle, it turned out amazingly and yes it did take a bit of time and patience to get it completed. But it was worth it in the end :)!
Inky Hugs,
